The Department of Electrical Engineering is sponsoring a three-times-a-week supplemental lecture session on MATLAB taught by Prof. Robert Pinter. Lectures will begin on Friday, 12 January 2001. These lectures will be the same for subsequent three classes, beginning on Fridays. These will be tutorials for using all EE-relevant features of MATLAB. Some of these are: representation of functions, signals and polynomials. Higher order arrays, and array arithmetic. Matrix properties and calculations. Script M files and Function files for solving minimization and differential equations properties. The lectures will occur to at least the mid-quarter. During this period and subsequently , I will hold clinics to advise students on their questions and problems with MATLAB, during and after the class. There will be a website soon. The meeting times and rooms are: Monday 8:30-9:20 in Loew 106 Wednesdays, 11:30-12:20 in EE1 025 Fridays, 3:30-4:20 in Loew 105. If you have further questions, please contact Prof. Pinter
